A letter from your President,

Happy New Year! It’s an honor to serve as your president as we celebrate the incredible milestone of 40 years of GCAA. As we step into 2025, our vision remains clear: HOME—Helping Others More Every day. This guiding principle reflects the heart of our association and the spirit of service that has defined us for four decades. This year, we’ll strive to keep our focus centered on the spirit of service, grounded in our industry’s purpose of providing homes to the Greater Columbus Georgia community.

This year, as we honor GCAA’s rich history, we’ll focus on continuing our legacy of excellence and community. Whether it’s through fostering fellowship, sharing knowledge, or supporting each other, let’s make 2025 a year of connection, collaboration, and celebration.

Together, we’ll work on:

Increasing Participation – Your involvement is the key to our success. Let’s show up, share ideas, and encourage one another to make a difference.

Fostering Fellowship – GCAA is more than a professional network; it’s a community. Let’s strengthen our bonds and build lasting relationships.

Expanding Education – By providing valuable resources and learning opportunities, we’ll continue to elevate our industry and better serve our residents.

Engaging with Our Community – We’ll honor our commitment to helping those in need, reinforcing the vital role we play in shaping lives and neighborhoods.

As we celebrate this special anniversary, let’s also look forward to what we can achieve together. As Helen Keller wisely said, “Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.” I’m excited to see what we’ll accomplish in this momentous year.
